I feel like Empires are way too stable and easy to manage though.
But I find CK3 pretty understandable. Its not that its hard, because I cant understand something, but because there is sooo much to balance and consider with every move.
So if CK3 is a watered down version of CK2, than BY GOD i dont want to play CK2.
It also feels like CK3 is finally a Paradox game that properly tells you how stuff works, so on top of CK2 veterans being already used to it, it's less of a struggle to know what to do.
I'd say that's rather hyperbolic, anyway it's also the fact that CK2 received many updates in the years.
I don't mind the challenge of CK2. I don't even mind necessarily how wildly random it becomes sometimes, since there are ways to mitigate that. What I do like in CK3 a lot more than CK2 is that there are many fewer mouseclicks needed to get the same things done.
