Cant seem to enable achievements no matter what I do

Dear all,

I have troubles enabling achievements on my game.

When i started out everything worked, i was playing on ironman and all was fine. At a certain moment i downloaded a graphic mod which presumably caused it to deactivate the achievements, irritating but understandable. Hereafter I removed the mod but since then neither my old game or any new games are able to get achievements.

Did anyone of you encounter a similar problem and knows how to help me out?

IIRC - you have to have Iron Man enabled, NO mods activated and be playing on normal level difficulty in order to enable achievements.

If you're doing all that and still can't enable the STEAM version of gold stars for men - probably should go to the paradox CK3 forum and ask there.

Thanks for the reply. As i stated, I enabled iron man, have no mods enabled and toggle the "restore default options" to have it on normal difficulty but sadly this does not help. Thank you anyway

Your old game will never get achievements.

New ones should though. It could be that some of the mod was left behind. The checksum (shown at the top right of the main menu) should be "e374". If it's not then at least 1 of the files has been altered in some way. You could try verifying the game, or even uninstalling/reinstalling.

Yeah, once the checksum is compromised in a save, that save will never get an achievement. You will need to start a new save.

Tried this, it doesn't work. still seem to have no way of having acheivments now

I have the same problem. Try to launch binaries/ck3.exe in admin mode - that helped me.

Cheezecake did you click on the bottom left-play as any ruler or create your own ruler. I was only able to get it to work in the rules from there. It's a bug on the main screen.

I had the same issue yesterday. I created a custom ruler, and then the achievements were enabled. Maybe give that a go.I had loaded mods prior, then the no achievement bug came along.
