How to get rid of murderer trait
I murdered my half sister so I can gain my lands that were lost on succession, but it got revealed and I gained the murderer trait, and now everyone has a -15 opinion of me. Seeking indulgences doesn't get rid of it either. How do I get rid of it?

Well, you're a murderer and always will be. I don't think you can get rid of it.

Afaik you can't. Yeah I mean people generally dislike murderers. Crazy.

if your catholic you can seek indulgenses from the pope so basically pay the pope gold and your murder trait will go away

The price of greed. Wondering you're not Kinslayer either. But you can be very well cared for with it. I've played a lot of intrigues and I've been caught a lot... only disturbed me the first time, then you realize that it has little effect. -15 is easy to manage.

well... it actually might. indulgences can remove the kinslayer trait, so why not the murderer trait too?

No idea, but the prompt doesn't say it will remove it. I haven't actually spent the 300 gold to test it though, you go right ahead.

Well, on the bright side. If you're a known murderer, just keep on murdering. Your image is already stained with blood of another, might as well as just keep going at that point.

The first kill is always the hardest... after that it gets much easier.
