Whats the point of Holy War for Kingdom?
I've used this 3 different times winning the war and receiving zero holdings afterwards.

Did it change the religion of the ones you were attacking?

When i declare a Holy war for a kingdom i get all the countys belonging to the Kingdom. Sounds buggy tbh

edit: which religion is yours, which is the one you declared war on?

You get the counties in the de jure kingdom not the kingdom title itself, you need to for the kingdom if that's what you mean.

I guess your faith has the pluralist doctrine?

This should vassalize targets of holy wars, rather than seizing their titles. But somehow it didn't always do that, which might be a bug.

Ye, thats what i meant. The problem of the OP ist that he doesn't get any holdings at all after winnig holy war. Thats why i asked for faiths of attacker und defender to check if there are any things that block getting those titles.

I'm Yourubaland and was attacking Kong
And I don't think my religion has pluralist doctrine (at least I didn't see it.
After getting 100 warscore nothing changed on the map that I could tell. I literally gained none of Kong's counties at all.

After watching the map and your video i think it could be that you declared a war for the Kingdom of Akan against Kong. Since Kong only held 2 or 3 county titles of the kingdom of akan you might only have gotten these.
Im not too sure tho. If you declare a war for a kingdom there is a button change war objective. If the defender has more than one kingdom you can switch the target kingdom with it.

edit: just saw you are 2 holding above your limit. Maybe those 2 are the ones you got?

Insane that they are better than varangian guards. Totally historically inaccurate that the vikings weren't the spartans of the medieval world

Counties held by a ruler whose realm capital is outside the targeted region will simply lose those counties, regardless of the pluralism doctrine. They only get vassalized if their realm capital was inside the de jure targeted kingdom.
