Roman empire and vassal limit

Is there any way to increase the 60 direct vassal limit permanently as a emperor? Its getting hard to expand my empire furter when i cant get new vassals, and the once i have is getting fairly strong wich can be scary if there is a uprising :o

And what is with the lonesome counts declaring on random countys in my realm, pitting their 1k armys against my 250k army? xD

Ty for the reply, but with mods i would not get achievments :/ Not that there is any left for that current save thou, other than playing to the end date wich im doing now. Boring to sith trough 100 years with little expansion.

Nothing to be done. The only way to get more vassals is to either have the Princely Elective succession law, which is exclusive to the Holy Roman Empire, or gain the Greatest of Khans trait, which requires you to be tribal.

Might as well make things interesting for that final century fending off a mass rebellion. You've pretty much won anyway.

Oh well. will just keep feeding my greedy kings gifts and vassals then for another 100 years...
I can take comfort in knowing ceasar would be proud of the empire xD
