West Francia
Small thing, but does west francia ever change into France? or is it just west francia the whole game?

If 867, from my experiencie, it doesn't change, happens the same with East Francia to Germany, it doesn't change. You can manually change it, via title menu (clic on the title). I managed to get the title of West Francia as a Capetian (Robertine) and after two generations, it was still West Francia.

And, if you are curious, the Duchy of Neustria won't become Normandy until a decision is taken, but only Norse characters that fully control the Duchy can take it.

That I didn't know, thanks for helping. But, does the HRE ever form in the 867 start (without player intervention)? In all my games, East Francia and Lotharingia always gets conquered by norsemen.
