Failed to Save
Is anyone else getting a Failed to Save message after each session? And yes - I have ample disk-space.

No not on my end. Double check that it's not any mods causing it...also could try clearing your safe file out. I've had other games struggle when there are alot of saves present even with plenty of space available.

Only just installed CK3. No mods. Clean install. And no saves, because it won't let me save..........

I only installed CK3 today. No mods. Clean install. And no saves - because it won't let me.
And I've been trying for more than 2 hours to get it to work, so I can't even ask for a refund.

I think it's this problem (even though, I am not using mods):

Has anyone found a solution?

Go to windows security then Protection vs viruses and threats then manage protection vs ransomware then allow an app to to pass through controlled folder access then add allowed app then recently blocked app.

Odds are that youll see CK3 there add that and enjoy saving to ur hearts s content.

If not then u just click search all apps and you gotta make sure u add ur CK3 exe file in the games s files .

I had that issue too but i already knew this method

Ah - I don't know, what it is with this game. I uninstalled it. Cleaned up everything I could find on the HDD. Re-installed - and now the thing is hanging on the initialisation screen. As much as I enjoyed CK2 - this one is an expensive dud.

Do what i did and add CK3 to the allowed apps in protection vs ransomware for some reason windows does not like steam games for some reason

I will try it - after I've re-installed CK3 yet again. But I'm not real confident. I have 293 games in my Steam library. Windows doesn't have any issues with them.
