how to get to feudalism...

... if I need all innovations from my actual system. I am norwegian and noone who is using my culture is having settlements in asia, africa, and so on (for the cultural and regional innovations)

So am I doomed to stay forever in my current system? Is the only way to get to feudalism by getting settlements in asia / africa then?

Move to feudal from tribal asap.
Swear fealty to nearest feudal ruler. Any king will do if you're duke. If you're king yourself already - Byzantium empire. You'll need organized religion to go feudal via liege, so adopt his(her) or reform yours.
Get rid of vassal status(it can be profitable to play as vassal with a pushover liege, but you can't have vassal kings if you're vassal yourself and kings can have only 40 vassals).
While you preparing to get out of the vassaledge, modify vassal contract until you're vassal in the name only. Go for title revocation and counsel clauses asap, to prevent you liege taking those hard earned titles away and guaranty you warm place on your liege counsel(steward to get more money and discount to build your domain or spymaster to play dirty). Then drop tax and levies to 0. Always use hooks(weak is enough) for contract renegotiation first.
Onve you're ready:
1.1 Use kidnap plot exploit (perk kidnapper in Intrigue tree) to grab you liege and declare independence(via independence faction).
1.2 Go all hardcore and win independence war (may be the fastest option if your senior is a pushover)
1.3 Use Meritocracy perk to take your liege's title. Hey, it's free kingdom just laying around! Don't recommend against Byzantium thought, since you will be extremly weak after convertion to feudal at first, althought if you're a likeble dude (males first law), it's possible to install yourself via "Me for Byzantium" faction.

Haven't tried it myself, but may be doable.
Conquer a county with culture that's already passed tribalism (Greeks are first that comes to mind), move you capital there and convert to capital culture via decision.
If your tribe has absolute tribal organization, you can convert to clan or feudalism.
After succession, move your capital to previous spot and convert back to your culture if necessary.

You don't need regional innovations (which most cultures will never have), you only need all the common tribal innovations.

to advance you only need half the common innovations, there is a counter on each age you can hover over and it will tell you whats needed to advance

yes, i noticed this. however, it says 2/100 progress and montlhy progress is 0.0
is there a way to increase this value?

While been tribal? No. You don't advance to 2d innovation stage as tribal.

As for others - you need to have more development in counties of your culture.

Development is literally the most important characteristic in game.

well, haven't focused this attribute yet, just started to play and struggled to keep alive in the first place. :D

Right... I guess you haven't played late game yet...

U can paint most map in 100-200 years,what late game are u talking about?Ai can barely field 10k army usually.
