Why does the game auto-marry / auto give you heirs
In Ck2 you could start out and strategically choose who you wanted to marry. Now I have to basically murder my wife every game I start because they're completely pointless / useless unless you pick a historical figure. Is there an option in the pre-game settings or something?

I have, but now that I read your reply I understand what you meant. Anyway I'm glad you found the solution!

Did you read the post or did you just answer without bothering to like the other fellow... In the other CK games, some lords / kings etc. did not start with a family, period. In CK3, the game's default setting is to auto generate a family for you if you don't have one. They are not predetermined, in fact they are literally the opposite lol.

maybe your post made no sense and was confusing and unclear , because me and the others who replied had no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ you were talking about with your original post.

This post explains it but your original post explained nothing.
