any way to reduce cost of reform faith? 4500 piety is way too expensive

yea the best source,human sacrefice (piety but gain tyranny) and some pilgrimage which every 15 years to get 700 piety
its around 2100 piety, doesnt enough :(

not sure what gross pagan false god you worship, but as a Good Christian, I have no issue playing a Learning King. Toss in alittle family tree and start raising the super heirs with 20+ stats in everything.

Haven't had to play Intrigue or Steward since I stopped being a lowly count.

You don't have to be a learning king, you just gotta get prophet, it's not even that far on the tree and 50% is huge. Maybe less than 10 years of his adult life and it's done. I did it with a guy educated in diplomacy and it went fine.

Also, check why it says 4500, you'll see it has to do with fervor. At least it was like that when i created a christian heresy. So the price would change depending on fervor.

The basic holy wars, not a great one. Maybe securing your holy sites too, I think it lower the fervor.

You may want to wait after a failed crusade. I took the theologian line which made reformation cheaper, but after a failed crusade, modifying virtually everything in the religion became very cheap.
