Bug? Income goes negative when coming out of debt

I'll be in debt, then come into the positive, and immediately after, my income goes red. Might be a mechanic I don't understand, like some debts are suspended until I have money and are quickly being repaid? Minor nuisance.

I like the advice and the tips which help explain the mechanics. Amazing game.

it might be the monthly reinforcement of men-at-arms regiments.

as long as you are in debt they don't get reinforced and thereby don't cost any money except their upkeep. reinforcing starts as soon as you come out of debt which explains the negative income. check the bottom of the military tab if you have the monthly reinforcements turned on.

Good to know it isn't a bug, just a mechanic that I did not understand.
