arent kings worth 500? and emperor is worth 1k :).
you also need a decent ruler that gets the entire learning tree
and then just never spend piety and save it
Edit: Also if you fail to imprison him you can just roll again and he doesnt run away like other Characters. That seems to be a bug.
Waaqism has the lowest base cost of 5750, Khyarwe Bön has the low base cost of 6650, but have human sacrifice. Ásatrú base cost is 7300, but has far better choice of starting characters.
With a high learning (-33%) Cynical (-25%) Apostate (-75%) Pluralist (-25%) I managed to get the cost down to 29500.
It's really the "dead religion" multiplier of 500% that kills it.
There might be an event after restoring the Roman empire, that awakens Hellenism or allows you to convert to it for free.
But I havn't been able to find it in the game files, so I'm not sure.
This is the most effective strategy because the patriarch never runs away and gets instantly replaced and i already managed to reform hellenism with it.
Probably an exellent strategy.
But I tried starting as Sigurd Ragnarsson, and after amassing enough fame (wich wasn't hard at all) I could start a war for the duchy of Alexandria, that's where the Coptic Pope lives, and he has the same properties as the Othodox Patriach. 26 years into the game and Sigurd is now Hellenist.
I figured I can get up to 5% prestiege per knight and +2% piety. I'm not sure the max number of knights I can hit, but I would need to reform away from tribal first. Dont htink i can still hit the piety needed tho
Not entirely can't tell for hellenism but zunism does have the unique sun worhship tenet going for it and as I mentioned they could be more meant for future expansions or still needs to be balanced.
its organized by diferent types of relgion, all pagans are pagan except for the magyar one, its urlic.
