In the options you can switch off end date but will stop achievements

Yes, theres an option in the rules to remove it. And possible there will be one at 1453 that lets you just keep playing without achievements. But not sure about that second part.

Definitely a game option before you start a game.

You can change that in game rules to no game end. I believe that could mean you can play this game to the date 3000, however, there will be more technology to invent at that point.

Yes, there's a Game Rule option you can change when you start a new game (either 1453, or No End Date).

I clicked observe and let the game run overnight for 8 hours. When I woke up the game was around 1650 or so... The entire world was conquered by muslim faiths which had split into like 3 or 4 different muslim denominations. The last christian bastion was one county that was waldesian not even catholic lol and it was already under siege. And enormous empires, like enormous!!! When I tried looking at the family tree of the biggest empires ruler, the game just started loading and I gave up after 30 minuters and forced shut down my computer cus I couldn't do anything else.

Also at the fastest speed the game was running like a speed 4, maybe a tiny bit faster than a speed 4.
