"prefer over favored candidate" option in crusade

I am not sure what this actually does. When checked I get more loot? The description is way to vague, has anyone tested and seen what this does? I personally can not tell.

If this is checked your favored candidate becomes the king of the contested kingdom if the crusaders win the crusad. This leaves you with less loot for the right to move your guy to the throne.

Be wary, a few days after he ascends to the throne there will be a message where you can stop playing as your current character and start playing as the new crowned king (people tend to not read the tooltip that warns you about this but only click on the message)

Yeah but, last time I didnt check it and my candidate became the king of jeusalem anyway
