How to stop vassals randomly take territories?
So, i'm king of ireland and my vassals randomly conquer counties outside of my territories and it's hard to manage my growth. I mean i want to expand slowly not chaotically. is there a way to stop them to go to wars outside of my kingdom?

You can't until you are feudal which takes literally centuries of game time (at the early start). Just think of it as free land.

I know in CK2 there is a law that do that, prevent Vassals from fighting each other and prevent them from fighting wars outside. But then if I remember, Vassals causing war outside in that game only increased their own lands, not you ourself. Lands they take come under their rule and not yours so doesn't count against your demain limit while still growing the country as a whole.

CK3 tho, laws pretty much don't exist. There seems to only be succession laws, and how much control you have. No actual laws like in CK2 that I've found so far.

There are crown authority laws (it is one of these that stops independent expansion). I am finding the constant warfare between my vassals more of an issue, which also can't be stopped until you are feudal.

Played as Lithuania and my vassals had stuff all over the place, i even had some feudal dude in Austria as a vassal.

I haven't seen the law options like ck2 used to have. Vassals taking land is such a double edge sword, awesome for free expansion when they take places you need, major headches when your getting war dec'd for some land that doesn't directly benefit you.

That being said, I did notice something, I think its for legacies. Say if you have 10 rulers of your dynasty all as independent rulers you get a buff. So in theory it could be useful if your family member vassals take some land.

You could also always just take the hit revoke the title they own in your land, then cut them off and let them live in their new lands as and indie.

I dont really care if my vassals are fighting each other as long as they're within my own territories. but if they take other territories that i want to take and i want to give to new vassals that's a big problem to me. cause the "old" vassal will grow stronger.

It's annoying when your heir gets killed fighting his neighbour and you have no levies as they were all killed fighting over some swamp in the middle of nowhere.

getting war dec'd on on some distant land that my vassal own is not the problem, in my opinion. Because you can just surrender and the land will be gone and the vassal will lose the land. my problem with my vassal taking random lands outside of my own kingdom is that they pretty much gave me an eye sore on the borders. if the borders are screwed it's hard to declare a war, because you'll have to fight multiple wars. like say you just want to take duchy of normandy but inside the duchy there are 3 major kingdoms owning land within the duchy then you have to fight those major countries instead of fighting only france.

its as if the dev has left out these laws on purpose and ive noticed other parts of game missing as if they know they be doing dlc soon for it
