I was able to romance my own wife!
I married a woman and clicked early and the game let me romance her.

She is my lover and my wife!!

I think thats a bug, but honestly I don't know why there are not more options of what to do withy our wife.

I also think that there should be more options to reduce stress.

It's not a bug. It's a reflection on the fact that marriages among nobility in that time frame were political alliances.

I am so happy we can finally seduce and romance our wives. One thing that always annoyed me in ck2 is that you could never seduce her once married.

This. Love was something that could emerge as a random event, but not something you could ever actually try for. From a role-playing standpoint, being able to say "my character truly loves this person and wants them to love him back" shouldn't end at marriage for no explicable reason.
Hell, even if you want to play from a completely manipulative, strategic mindset, it's nice that we finally have a way to manipulate relationship and fertility values.
Most of the marriages in CK world are just business (for alliances, for her skills, etc), by romancing her you give more meaning to the marriage.

And as a matter of fact, I actually had a lot of babies after doing so, don't know if romancing your wife helps overal fertility of the couple, can someone confirm or deny? It would make sense I guess

It is normal. She will now be loyal and give you an heir. Arranged marriage was not about love but dynasty and politics.

The only thing that needs fixing is apparently if your wife discovers that you're trying to romance or seduce your wife, she gets mad.

Reportedly, anyway, I've only done it once and it was successful despite my meddling brother, who'd successfully ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my previous wife not once, but twice, trying it again.

People can be your friend, your lover or even your soulmate. It is actually worth doing this with your partner because it will reduce the chance of them cheating on you.

If people think you're just trying to manipulate them, they get mad.

AI wives can also romance you which is a nice feature. Had it happen with a Norse ruler who'd been busy filling his court with babies from his concubines.

You disgust me!

Too early to tell, but it would be a sensible feature

Hmm, what is ' a lot ' ?

I was trying the tutorial on gamepass, then started and had 5 offspring in no time.
Without romancing. (I've never played the other versions, didn't even know it was possible.)

That's what the Australians are saying, hence banned from selling there at the moment.

One of my Concubines started scheming to win my heart. Sang love songs to me. Wrote a poem. Gifted me with a puppy.

The puppy grew into a lovely dog. Took dog to Council meeting. One of my Councillors tried to argue with me and the dog growled at her. I got my way. Yay doggy!

One night, an assassin tried to kill me in my sleep, but the aforementioned smitten Concubine was basically stalking me so she was there to stop the attempt. I finally gave in and gave over my heart because all of this was turning out to be quite useful. So now I had an awesome dog and a Concubodyguard.

But my neighbors were bigger than me. And I kept getting raided. Finally, one of them just decided to take all of my everything and since it was my 350 men (with no gold left to hire Men-at-Arms) to his 900-something, it quickly proceeded to game over.

So it wasn't a very long reign, but the obsessed concubine subplot was 10/10. LOL

i guess romancing the wife could work if there are special events for this... otherwise its neither a bug or an improvement.
