Personally, I'd like to see the Americas but that probably won't ever happen :(
A far east themed DLC is highly anticipated by the community, as it seems. So Korea or even Japan might be there one day.
Paradox would probably expand the map even more because ck3 is a lot more stable then ck2, But i doubt they would go past china. Having china alone in would break the game. it's too stronk and runs differently from traditional feudalism in mena and europe.
The time period of CK3 starts just before China split up after the Tang Dynasty. It wouldn't be one giant country tbh.
B) That kingdom apparently only existed from 37 BC–668 AD, CK3 starts in 867AD
It would very, very quickly become one. And the way China has historically governed their lands doesn't really work at all within the Crusader Kings engine to begin with.
Edit: Let me rephrase. While we might see China in the game, it is highly unlikely to be a playable empire in any shape or way. It will most likely appear like the Papacy or Venice with limited interactions like in CK2.
It perfectly works with Ck3. Lots of individual warlords, intrigue & dynasties.
