No, you can't.
That's the entire point of feudalism.

It's possible yes. You can technically own the entire map as one empire. I assume you are new to the series and don't know how succession laws work?

So do I have to give the conquered lands to someone else making him a vassal?

Owning the entire map as an empire, but aren't all the lands belonging to my leader? Having to divide between vassals, right?

Yes, eventually. I'm sure one day PDX or a modder will put in a rule that allows your domain to be infinite because CK2 had that. But for now, you have to delegate most of your land eventually.
I understand, it sucks to have to deal with vassals and be careful that they don't betray me and turn against me. :tshock:

Yeah, you have to distribute land out to your vassals and then you can tax them to whatever degree your laws allow. Thats the fun of the game. Even brutal tyrants like William the Conqueror , Vlad Tepes and Genghis Khan wouldn't have survived without vassals.

It's a medieval political simulator. That's the core of the game :)
But it would be nice if my leader could have domain infinite. :steamhappy:
Maybe a future DLC or Mod

if thats your thing then sure but be aware that this is very much against the spirit of the game.

You are approaching the game with the wrong mindset the idea of a nation or state does not exist at the time of ck2 a single ruler cannot manage or administrate lots of areas a dynasty and family are the closest thing to a country peasents are divided by who rules them not wwhere they are born

Imperator covers a different time, when authority was centralized and imperium was a respected concept. In the middle ages, most of the world devolved into a situation in which you didn't have governments, but powerful land-owners with wealth and soldiers. Those land owners swore fealty to other, mightier land owners for protection in exchange for service and tribute.

In other words, a medieval kingdom is essentially a formal alliance of land-owning warlords.

Yeeeea, Tell that Ming or the Byzantine Empire. BOTH are usable ingame (althou, not Ming, but Quin at most). Soooo nope, not against the core, yet HARD to achive from the LOW TECH AND CULTURE that you start with. Middle East and Asia at this time are like couple hundred years ahead in tech AND development compared to, Europe.

You own the realm, the highest title is yours, so your the emperor of Empire A, and everyone is below you. However those people below you have lands within the empire to rule, they are your vassals, you rule/own them. However. Just like in real life - they might backstab you etc.

Short example. You might own 100 cars. But you can't drive 100 cars. So you make people do that FOR you.
