Seize Dejure or Ducal conquest of county?
I don't quite understand how this works. I can go to war with Scotland over Leinster or Dublin with either of these two CB's, but which one do I choose if I want to hold the land for myself to add to my domain?

If by domain you mean add it to your holdings, then you need to get the COUNTY. Holdings are basically counties.

Does that answer your question?

Yes, that's it! I see that you can't personally hold more than two Duchy or Kingdom titles, if I am correct?

Seize De Jure is a CB that means the enemy controls your De jure land so you are going to take that back.... This will likely give the county in question to you!

Ducal Conquest is a war on behalf of the person who holds the Duke Title for that war, this could be you or it could be a vassal you will have to verify who is the duke and if you choose this option the duke gets the county....

Technically you can hold more than 2 duchies, but your vassals are gonna dislike you. It can still be possible if they like you a lot and you can just ignore the penalty to relations .

But why do that? if your empire is setup properly you don't need to control more than 2 duchies.

As for kingdoms, right now i am holding 3 of them without issue. I think it only becomes a problem if you are an empire, which i am not yet.

Speaking of that, if you are not a king (true king, not petty king which means basically a duke) then you can hold more than 2 duchies. People are only gonna hate if you are a king with more than 2 duchies are believe.

Let me know if that's clear.

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you everyone for clearing it up for me!
