Click "Send Proposal"..... where is it?

So I am playing the tutorial to get an idea of this game and it states "Select a Spouse for your Character and click Send Proposal to suggest the union"..... yet I do not see anywhere an option for Send Proposal.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

It's because you haven't selected them yet. When you see them both in window together, then you will see "send proposal"

Not sure why it is not letting me select them then as Left clicking on their portrait does nothing.
If I right click then I can choose options like Send Gift, Romance.... just not an option that states select.

The previous tutorial window instructs you to click the empty portrait next to your own character to open the 'find spouse' window. From that window you select one from the big filterable list, and click 'send proposal'.

You can do it other ways, but this is the most straightforward.

OK, when the box/window comes up for arrange marriage, you see the list below? Don't click on the portrait, click in stat area of the box beside their portrait, But clicking their portrait just brings up another window to left.

Yeah I was clicking on the Portrait of the woman NOT the box to the right that contains their traits.....

Stupid UI was frustrating me but hopefully that is the smallest issue. :-)

Glad to have finally found that out. Don't really see a point to doing it like that, but at least that resolves the biggest annoyance I had playing so far.

You can remember that for the future. Left clicking on any character directly always opens up the character info screen. It's actually nicely done as when you encounter any character you are always just one mouse click away to check the info about the character. You will get used to the UI after a while and it's actually very well designed in my opinion. But it does take some time to get used to it if you haven't played a crusader kings title before.

Hello. Also can't pass through tutorial "send proposal" part: any time i select the bride and press "send proposal" nothing happens, no event fires, so i can't go further. Anyone knows what am i doing wrong?

the game is paused, but nothing happens when i press triangle buttom in the lower right part of screen, so in won't go unpaused(

I had exactly this problem--was driving me nuts! Kept clicking on face to select a spouse and never thought of clicking on the Traits box! Somewhat relieved to see I am not the only one who was confused by the instructions...they should provide more explicit instructions for this step IMO...

That part of the ui I think is a good choice. It lets you easily bring up the characters stat page without interfering with the marriage screen. There are a lot of areas that could use some polishing though.
