Vassals expanding my empire to much
Seems like a dumb problem, i know. but hear me out: its my first playthough, and i pick the Rajistan dudes on the earliest start. Im spending all my time dealing with internal ♥♥♥♥ and never once even bothered checking out other countries, However, my empire now stretches from the arab emirates to the border of yemen and oman, includes the entire duchy of fars, although the saffarids are still alive with a lot of territory, and overall my territory size is doubled from what was already a big empire start, by the year 942. i have fought one war against external forces when a tiny ass nation on the arab peninsula tried to take back what my vassal took from em. I have no clue how this is happening, im not helping them or even investing in them. The only thing i did that could possibly have aided them was make a holly order and a custom religion that was more optimized. Is this just a super begginers luck thing and not normal or ck3 norm? and is there any law to make it stop? Crown authority just says internal wars and requires level 4.

There is really no reason to want your vassals to stop expanding your territory; is there a problem beyond sloppy borders that you're experiencing because of this? Who cares if you get extra taxes and they expand, and why?

This mod has a game rule option that will stop vassals from starting external wars. This was a problem I had as well as someone who hates border gore with a burning passion.

Level 3 only prevents internal wars, Level 4 prevents external wars.

However, these laws only affect your direct vassals.
If you are an emperor, there are two more tiers below your king vassals who can do what they want.

Since every marriage also grants an alliance, it is very easy for those sub-vassals to mobilize enough troops to challenge other kingdoms. In particular those with polygamy can have an enormous amount of alliances.

And the AI is very good at keeping an eye on neighboring realms. Whenever a top liege has his troops decimated from a losing war, they will attack and can easily grab a duchy.
Honestly, the game is get to emperor, and then manage the constantly growing realm until 1453

thank you guys! #50shades of gandalf grey yes there is. as mentioned people want their titles back and start wars. more importantly i end up witha bunch of vassals who have to much territory and are therefor on even ground with me, i also end up with a lot of different religion and culture. The primary reason i complain is the internal problems.
