Adopt Special Succession Type (Saxon Elective) - I have no idea what this is trying to say
What, and I repeat, what the bloody hell is this supposed to mean?
I'm viking, just make a kingdom, got an option to 'Adopt Special Succession Type'.

Current default is conferedate partition which is messy.
But I don't understand what saxon elective is atall after reading it 15 times.
We all vote for somebody to take all the titles I currently have? Or we all vote and it gets divided p anyway? So confused.

Oh it literally just means you can change your heir?

The special succesion laws are title specific. In your case it would only make your newfound kingdom title heir be decided with the saxon elective succession. All your other titles would still follow your realm succession which would be confederate partition.

The special succession types are all elective systems which means the heir of that title will be decided by votes. Might be your candidate, might be someone else, depends on whether they like you and your candidate or not.

It's only really useful if you don't have an Empire, and have multiple Kingdoms, you put your primary Kingdom on normal succession, you then put your other Kingdoms on Elective successions (and ensure your primary heir is the one with the most votes) and they then get all of the Kingdoms instead of just the primary one allowing you to bridge that gap between 1 Kingdom and the 3 you usually need to get an Empire without splintering.
