It would be cool, albeit challenging if say adopting feudal ways required you to spend a certain amount of time at absolute authority before you could enact the decision. That way you'd be required to take and manage that -30 opinion until you could go feudal, rather than just saving up the prestige and hitting both things basically at once.
I can get onboard with that. Might also diminish some of the outrage over losing buildings, too, since some of it comes from a place of "Why do I just SUDDENLY lose everything? That make no sense."
This has been patched, whining to make the game easier does work it seems. Although now they're complaining that their favorite exploits have been removed.... If I remember correctly, every tribal building is replaced by a random one.
More and more, normal difficulty will actually mean retarded, and I don't even know what the easy mode is for...
I mean, losing tribal buildings meant people saw them as a waste and never invested in them, meaning a whole piece of the gameplay and mechanics was basically ignored. Now that they changed that, people will actually build tribal buildings.
But sure, go off about 'muh difficultee.'
The game is easy, if you've played vanilla ck2 you can't deny that. Tribal was op and the only challenge about it was this transition which required a bit of planing and patience, now its gone. Worse, for the ridiculous price that they cost as tribal, you get feudal buildings without even unlocking the innovations needed for them.
I agreed in the past that they could do something like that to avoid destroying everything, but for a price, not for free like that. They rushed it because of the complaints.
