How to appoint someone from court to join council?
I can't seem to figure that one out, also is there a way to invite people to my court to join my council like in CK2 or did they change that? Thanks!

The game suggests people to join your council in the position you've chosen from outside of your court. I'd assume you can also manually search for people and get them to join your court - and then hire them.

I can't seem to invite people, even when I search people its only people in my court and I can't invite em to join my council. I can't find the option at all, Im basically sitting without a steward atm.

Are you trying to hire them from the COUNCIL screen? You don't right click people and ask them to take a position. You hire them from the council screen specifically.

Yeah I click appoint steward and its showing me two options for people who are already on my council, ones my chancellor and the other is my marshal. I can't seem to figure how to get new people to join.

Do I have to wait for guests to come to my court then invite them to join my council?

Hmm... Hop on over to your character screen, then click "Court". Do you have any adult males as guests? (or women if your realm has gender equality or female preferred of course)

If not you'll have to either wait for more guests to arrive, take more vassals through war (as in conquer more counties) or invite people to your court manually.

There's a search icon in the bottom right half area of your screen. Use the filter to search for people with your religion or culture (they tend to like you more) and see if you can invite anyone to your court.

Yeah I think thats the problem, I had a female who invited to court and she became my spymaster but it looks like all the males already have roles. So looks like I just need to wait for my guests to arrive before I can assign a steward. Thanks for the help! I feel like learning a new game after having over 200 hours of CK2 hahaha XD
