You can't rename children already born, it pays off to pay attention to gameplay. They got rid of the name spam you had in ck2.

You can change hair and beard, but that is it.
They will add a full character creator later in a free update though.

you also can rename your kingdom so then why cant you rename your main character.

Hint: Kingdom name change can be done with a feather that is beside the name
