Can you make mixed race kids?

If I'm playing a white guy from France and get myself a black or asian wife, and have a baby, will they be visibly mixed race? Do physical visible traits pass on to offspring genetically, or are the character models random?

I asked the same thing, someone told me there was mixed race character generation, but I'm not sure to what variety or detail. They might just have a generic mixed race character model regardless of which two races make babbies.

I want to try this, and slowly turn an area of England to look Asian or Indian. It would be cool if it happened gradually over time as you start with a white dude and keep breeding with the other race over successive generations.King of England could be a black dude in the year 900.

I did it in CKII, make the Byzantine Empire entirely Indian by breeding out the Greeks. But I really hope the mixed race blend is varied enough that you could technically create entirely new 'races' in odd places. Like, you have Blasian Scandiavia or Whindian Africa.

Ban non-interracial couples. Punishment - jail and death.

That would be a crazy good challenge run.

Edit: With incest? Make sure you miscegnate everyone in your dynasty, as in like make sure if there's any pure race people of the same dynasty but different races, you marry them together
