How is Royal Edition Displayed in Steam?
Hi,

not sure if I got the wrong product code and therefore need your help.
I ordered the Royal Edition and got my key from 3rd party reseller today. After activation only "Crusader Kings III" is displayed.
How does the "Royal Edition" appear in your Steam (as above or "Crusader Kings III Royal Edition"?
Thanks and Regards!

You can go to "Account Details" on the top right of the client then "View licenses and product key activations" and then it should say "Crusader Kings III Royal Edition Pre-Purchase" somewhere in the list depending on when you activated it.

I think it will show once released. I Have had that in the past but once it is downloaded it adds whatever you get extra.

I believe it's the same for everyone. Go to your account details (top right) and check your license activations. That should show you which key you have.

I have the same issue, and I ordered it through Steam. I guess I just have to trust that it will give me all the stuff I paid extra for .

You could test to see if you can buy the Royal Edition for yourself. If you can only buy it for a friend I would bet that would mean you own it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

If you're from Australia, it may be that GMG froze because of the ACB issue. If that's the case, try and get in touch with both them an Paradox, as Paradox has promised to honor pre-orders in Australia that were placed before the freeze.

How much are the expansions going to cost? It they're 29.99, I'd be saving a measly 5 bucks by getting the Royal Edition. Is my math correct?

You guys really asking this? You trying to flex your royal edition to your friends or something?

Its one game, you're paying a premium for DLC that hasnt even been made yet. The name of the game you bought is Crusader Kings 3 DLC edition, thanks.

That is true if you just look at the main expansion. You also get the two flavor packs though, which are $7 each. I am honestly not too hype for the flavor packs, so rather than saying I am saving $20, I view it as saving $5 and getting the two flavor packs thrown in as a bonus.

The flavor packs might actually turn out okay, since I hear they might have new events and maybe new mechanics. Though if it is just cosmetic stuff, then I am not going to be a huge fan.

Or, you know, perhaps OP is curious how many people have enough faith in the game's quality to buy the DLC up front at a discount. Sometimes posts can be harmless, you know.

Could be harmless true, but if I saw "Jim has started playing "Call of Duty: Up Yours Poor Guy" edition I wouldn't be a fan.
