It's worth a try on low settings, since you can refund if it doesn't run properly, but the Intel Iris Pro 580 is the minimum requirement for Intel graphics cards, and it benchmarks around 119% faster than your 530.
Still badly needs an upgrade though.
Fair point. If he can run Dying Light, he can probably run CK3, it'll just be a question of how well (and how patient he is with choppy graphics).
Welp, if it were me I just couldn't do it. I didn't play CK2 for a whole year after the Rajas expansion introduced terrible choppyness. Took them a year to get that fixed and I didn't play at all.
Got any friends that might have an old/spare one you could borrow? Or buy a used one from eBay or something?

Given it's lowest level card is a 460 1gb you may be able to run it with intel graphics. I know intel graphics has been getting better and better. If you have problems lower the resolution.

Should run the game quite well. There may be other, even cheaper options, just be careful who you buy from. A lot of sites like to rip you off for graphics hardware. "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."
Edit: Ah, a laptop? Unfortunately that's outside my expertise.
