Remove end date?

Hi, I am playing a campaign that I am really enjoying, unfortunately I did not realize that the end date was active and today I arrived at 1453, is there a way to remove this limit and continue playing?

You can change the game rules within your game by editing your save with something like notepad but if your playing as an ironman you're out of luck unfortunately. I would also suggest having a backup of your save just to be safe.

very unfortunate indeed especially since before release of the game they kinda gave a blanket statement saying you would be able to play on beyond 1453...just not in ironman. really beat and a missed opportunity for more achievements/content/dlc/etc. also 1453 is a terrible end date

There is an option in the game settings before you start a game. Disables achievements though.
