Suggestions for Martial lifestyle perk/tree choice needed.
Hello again all.
Sorry for so many questions, I am sort of obsessed with learning the game :)
I am Count Santiago of Santiago (soon to be Duke Santiago of Galicia) in the year of our Lord 874 AD.
I have just unlocked my first perk point in martial lifestyle and cant decide what tree to start with.
All suggestions most graciously received.

I'd go for the middle tree, control, if your not keen on leading your armies, or your struggling to gain control of your lands. If not the chivlary (far right) tree is pretty nice due to 75% bonus to knight effectiveness and +4 knights as well.
I almost always go for the middle tree. It's just so much easier to focus on external affairs when you don't have to worry about internal problems as much.
50% off casus belli is really good. Besides that perk, the middle tree and right tree are both pretty nice. +4 knights and +75% effectiveness makes your knights really strong, but if you don't want to focus on knights, mid tree is the way to go.
1st point in left and mid

Many thanks, chaps.
I have taken the chivalry focus to start.
I very much like the sound of the 3rd tree, Gallant.
I enjoy leading my armies and in the coming war the benefits my knights would receive would be a huge boon.
Strategist control is also the other option but I can switch to that tree next.
Left Tree if you are a Duke or Below or a low level Kingdom.
Middle Tree if you an Established Kingdom or Empire.
Right Tree if you are in the service of a powerful noble and you are a knight.
However if you want to make all the monies and pimp out your counties go with stewardship. The golden number is 33, which means bonus 50% income from your domain titles (things you directly own).
Diplomacy, Intrigue, Education, Stewardship, I feel those are all better than Martial, and in that order. Still, every tree has its place.

it depends what you are doing. If you are attacking or being attacked there are a ton of skills that help out with that. the + passive control a month is wonderful. Low control tends to have the people to revolt - and being able to passively fix that is amazing. it all depends on what you are set up in doing and what you plan on doing.
