How long is the tutorial ?
How long is the Irish tutorial in CK3 ? I badly need the tutorial to understand the game mechanics, but if it's like 10 hours long or something, I'm not so sure...

its not 10 hours but it wont cover everything you are better off watching a few guides and diving in. Its much more streamlined than CK2 but will still take some time if you are new.

You wil probably fail a fair few times but you'll learn something each time.

Its just a normal game with a Ireland start that explains the base mechanics and gives you some guidelines.
After about 1-2 hours it will leave you alone to either play out the rest of that game with Ireland or start a new game with another start point.

So its not really a "confined" tutorial, its more of a normal game with a guided start of a beginner difficulty realm.

I'd love to see the game with a ten hour built-in tutorial. "In my day" that sort of thing was called reading the manual.

Depends. If you JUST want to play the actual tutorial where it's walking you through game mechanics I would say it's a half hour to one hour investment of time. Then you can continue on in your tutorial game just like it's the regular game (so you basically don't lose your time invested in the tutorial component).

I played the tutorial twice just to get the extra help with understanding the vassalage system and how titles transfer and because the Irish kingdoms start out small, the tutorial is a good way to learn this part of the game, because within a few dozen years several minor wars are likely to happen to start consolidating Ireland.

One of my favorites was the one for Pharaoh. The artwork and little bits of Egyptian history.

Alright. Thanks guys. This game is incredibly complex, it just branches out. I will have my hands full learning this stuff. But I knew that before I bought it :)
