Could you please share your save and backup files so we can take a closer look?
You can email them to support@stairwaygames.com with the subject"Steam Discussion - Ocean Critters Not Rotating - [your Steam username]"
Any videos or screenshots related to this would be helpful if you could attach them too. We truly appreciate your help! 😊

Oh! Thank you for keeping us updated, JellieBun!
If you're able to share your Backup files, that would be super helpful for the team to take a closer look. :)
If you don’t mind, please send them along with any screenshots or videos you have. And of course, let us know if you need help finding the files. Thanks again!
ISSUE: Nighttime ocean critters never seem to spawn. For a long time, I'd be checking the farm computer in the evenings/night, only to find daytime ocean critters on the zoomed-up map.
Testing: First, I went into Dua Pulu early in the day, and ran around scaring the seahorses. After checking the farm computer, they had disappeared from the map. However, they respawned on the map at 4 PM; I rescared them, and then they respawned again at 6 PM. After that, they didn't seem to respawn during the evening/night. I tried catching them instead of scaring them, to get the same results.
I then looked up the specific area that had a critter I was looking for, and repeated the steps. However, this time, instead of a daytime spawn, the 6 PM had the correct nighttime spawn.
Context: I did the tests in Fall, Y2.
WORKAROUND STEPS:
Look up the specific area the desired critter lives. Then, at 4 PM (not before!) go into that area and scare away the existing critter spawns, and Anchor back out before 6 PM.
You can tell if it works by checking the Farm Computer shortly before 6 PM (there should be no critters appearing on the map where you scared them off), and then checking the farm computer after 6 PM (there should now be the nighttime spawns in those places)
