Cannot talk to Paul

I got the side quest from Paul to chop the tree behind is house but I cannot finish the quest because I just cannot talke to him at all.

I relaized this during this quest, He is the only character that still gives me a ? on the map.
I never met him, because I cannot talke to him. Does anyone has the same issue?

Just to mention, I play the game mostly on my SteamDeck.
