Tree festival

I was able to use my axe and scythe to clear A, but I can’t use the hoe to do B. I have tried everything - using my controller, using keyboard and mouse, pushing every button, nothing works. I really don’t want to start the day over as I did some stuff before I went to the festival but I will if I have to….

But I’d really just like the hoe to work…

I ended up restarting the day and did nothing before the tree festival and it worked, but it was very frustrating.

I see! Can you tell us everything you did before the tree planting festival that causes the bug earlier? We would like to investigate this further! Thank you!

Sorry for the delay - the holidays got me. I went diving and cleared two areas in the ocean, after doing my watering chores. Then I went to the tree festival to start it, and the cut scene went well, I was able to talk to everyone (so I did), and then I started it. I completed the first one, Section A, with the axe with no problem.
