Hangout Missing Spouse Interaction

Whenever I talk to my spouse and select to ask, I don't get the option to hang out. It's completely missing.

Hi there! Could you let us know who your spouse is? Also, have you already asked your spouse to hang out this week?
The hangout option is only available twice per in-game week. You can check it in the relationship menu. Thank you!😊

My spouse is Luke, I hadn't done any hangouts that week, I just realized it was during the winter festival so it wouldn't let me do any hangouts. It's working now.
