anyone already open this? is it a complete one or still WIP? also what dig site use for?

It's in the game, you can dig up fossils and geodes. It resets once a week.

It's a little bit weird, because you have to unlock the dig site, but you also have to unlock the deep forest to even get to it.

ahh i see only fossils and geodes, not that important then. i already open deep forest but im missing the last legendary fish needed for it. alright thanks for info

Is it the place you get into next to the monkey shop? I'm confused, because that opened up for me after a number of offerings, long before I completed the catch altar.

Kind of, the dig site is IN the deep forest. The mid forest opens with 14 offerings and you can go and cut down hardwood trees. The dig site is the big square area in it.
