Fossil Nodes Not Appearing
I started a new save a few days ago so I can enjoy from the beginning and I have not been able to find a single fossil node. I've expanded the museum and got the brush, but it's been about a week (in-game) and I haven't come across a single node. The fossil area of the museum is still closed off, so I don't know if I need to wait for that to open or is this a bug?

The fossil section of the museum will open if you donated enough fossils. Maybe five, or ten, I don't exactly remember

So the noes not appearing, is that possibly a bug in the game? I've been diving, in the caves, and clearing rocks on the farm, but haven't found anything yet.

I find a good supply of nodes underwater clearing trash. Have you tried an extended deep sea run?

This worked. Once I cleared about half of the second area, fossil nodes started appearing. Thank you!
