There is plenty to do right now as it stands and fun addictive gameplay.
I just use the discussion boards to be apprised of actual issues and work-arounds, but the ones that are still there, you can mostly stear clear of. I haven't had a breakdown in forever, and even then, I immediately understood that ( and how) it was my fault and could be avoided the next time I encountered a similar situation.
It would help if more players would try to find information on what works instead of reposting in panic whenever somebody else discovered, say, that they can't use the teleporter to the farm and immediately conclude that the game is hopelessly broken.
Instead of searching the forum for one minute and finding the twenty or so threads telling panicked people that if the teleporter is encumbered, it won't work.
However, if you need a game that is 100%, even down to the spelling, Coral Island is still not for you.
I'll give the true neutral review since no one did until now
Is the game complete? TECNICALY yes. You can FINALLY reach town rank S and have a final cutscene with the town. The underwater and lake temple are also complete to rank S having another set of altars each.
Is the game ACTUALLY complete? HAHAHAHAHAHAH No. Its still full of TBA in the dialogs and each time the dev team 'fix' some bug they add about another 2 new ones. The last one is the auto-chest stopping working AGAIN and now the autochests and machines suddenly getting a message of 'another player is using it' even with you on single player mode.
Is the game worth playing again? Depend. If the last time you played was before the rank S, I'd say yes, it is. You can even marry one of the 3 mermaids, but 99% of the underwater things including the underwater farm is full of bugs so dont set your expectations very high on that part. The NPCs are still at best average and many still seem like their cutscenes is more about their pets than about they actual selves.
All in all its not a bad game. Since you already bought it any recomendations of ONLY BUY ON SALE is null since the game is absurdly pricy for its quality.
Hope to have helped you or anyone else reading this for some tips
