Sam's 2 Heart Event

Just started playing recently and reached 2 hearts with Sam. The relationships page says to go to his general store between 10-16 to see the event, but it doesn't activate whenever I go. It doesn't say anything about weather or specific days of the week so I'm confused. Has anyone else encountered this/know how to activate it?

Are you in Fall? 15 Fall and 28 Fall?

Currently on Fall 20. Didn't know there was a specific day to activate it though. Getting the same thing with Theo's 3 heart event as well at the Community Center between 12 and 17
