Where are the titan arums?

My first year I was able to find a titan arum pretty much every day during fall. Sometimes two in a day. Although there was occasionally a day one did not spawn.

I am now in my second fall (after update) and I've found exactly one in 7 days. I usually search the entire forest area and the ranch pretty thoroughly because that black honey is sweeet. Unless...they've nerfed that too. I don't know as I'm just getting close to the end of processing my first black honey from the one flower I found.

Anyone else finding more of these still? I waste a lot of time searching for them, but it was worth it when I did.

I think Stairway nerfed the spawn rate of the Titan Arum and Rafflesia in the big update that dropped in December. I've given up spending time searching for them now, as they have become very rare.

I only found 2 in the autumn after the update. It's definitely not worth the time I spent scouring the map for them.

Thanks for verifying that I'm not just missing them. Honestly, I know that the devs have to tweak this game between now and the official release, (and I'm sure they're trying their best to do it right) but other than fish biting faster and the ability to craft from our storage, for me the update has been kind of a bust. Maybe I'm being too negative here, but I am rapidly losing interest in playing this game. I don't want to feel this way, as CI is a beautiful piece of work in so many ways. I'm just hoping the next update resolves some of the problems the last one created. Including the crashes so many are experiencing.

I thought it is a bug, that I couldn't find a single titan flower in almost 3 weeks now. If it is because it was nerfed, than it's a bit of overkill.

I actually never noticed a difference. Even before the update, I was getting one or two a season. I was absolutely not finding one or two a day. Across 3 game files and 4 winters, I've found ONE Rafflesia. I just figured that since their honey sells for so much they were supposed to be rare.

Before the update it was quite possible to find at least one of either of these rare flowers in a day during their season. You had to look ALL over the forest to find them, but they were there. Now, nope. I wasted most of a week's worth of game days looking and then gave up. They definitely nerfed this. Anybody know what the black honey sells for now? My one flower is still processing.

I very much did check all over. I have a forage routine every day where I go west out of the farm, around the cemetery area, up around the mines and the monkey shack, up to the waterfall, back down by the temple and down to Kira's place, back up the other side of the temple to Ben's, back down that paved area of the jungle towards the ranch, back up to the hot spring, down to the vinyard and around to the carpenter, then straight across to the graveyard, up past the blacksmith, around to where that huge stone was, back down to the mayors house (there are two little path areas here that usually have good stuff like cherries), up to the top of the goddess temple grass area, aaaaaaaall the way down to the beach on the right hand side, across the entire beach, and then back up where Erika lives and that whole grass area to Nina's place, up the little grassy area by Millie's place and then right back down the little path again, down to the small beach, and then back up to the southern part of the farm and the little grassy area there.

I made this run every morning, takes maybe 3 hours because I stop to talk/gift anyone who happens to be along the path. There's no place I don't hit every day. Those big flowers were simply not there. I even cut down all the trees and chop the grass in the first days of each season so everything can be seen easier.

Jfc. This. I do this now, I'm on my 12th of Fall, year 2, and there's not a SINGLE one. I just need to make honey for the offering. On my first year (early access) I couldn't fint it, either, only found it by accident on the last day of autumb while going through garbage bins. I even check all the garbage bins every day, but there's nothing. Like???

I've no idea what to do. That's exhausting.

I don't know if it helps but I found the honey at the boat merchant what appears at the bar on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. It was that or the night time version.
