I have not tested what happens if you add another bug mid cycle, if it resets the timer or operates separately. Also have not checked to see what happens if you have more than 5 in and letting it go (though I suspect it just goes to 10 and caps out)
Seriously? It DOUBLES what is in there?! Holy Crap, why have I not been doing that!!! Thanks so much for that info! Now to load 'em up...
And yes, bronze salmon will give you bronze salmon. I haven't noticed that the cycle resets if you take out and put in bugs. But I haven't counted the days. I just keep 5 in there all the time, then take out a couple every day. Which leads me to think that while the cycle is 3 days, it's a bit more or less sometimes, just like some crops will mature a bit early or whatever.
Ooh, wolf spider! I have been meaning to see what the best insect is and have been breeding Atlas Moths (osmium) and making a bit. But I haven't figured out the very best insect, apparently, or the best fish.
Although, if you are breeding fish to use in cooking, it doesn't matter what they are for most recipes. And the quality also makes no difference (as of the time I last made sushi at least!)
