Hats are so ugly

The hats are fine, but when you put it on, your beautiful hair will just disappear and that make the hats look so ugly looking. Can you make the hair still showing when you are wearing a hat?

I think the hair goes back into either a short or medium pony tail if its long, or it can be short, or bald. I'm not sure how to or if you can switch between the options. I'd love for the hats to not effect the hair, but I think they haven't done it as it would take making the hat for every hairstyle. So if there are twenty hats and twenty hairstyles each hat has to go onto, that's a lot of models.

I could be totally wrong, though. It was just something I'd heard before on why the hats could be like that. I never end up wearing the hats. Hopefully, once things calm down after the main updates, they'll decide to change it.

I doubt that they'ed NEED to make a separate model for each combination of hat and hair, but I guess I don't know how they've made the hair in the first place. For example: Sims 4 gives each hairstyle a 'hat version' that it swaps to where the hair flattens against the scalp but then poofs back out after around the ears, then puts the hat model on top. But I'd honestly rather they let my hair clip though than shave my head.

They do if they want it to look good, when you just put the hat model over the hair model you will 100% have they clip over each other, however the current option we have are just as bad, i wish they at least gave each hat a long hair model and a short hair model, would still not be ideal but miles better.

I could be wrong, but I think I read that the devs plan to improve the hair/hat appearance down the line, but it's not a priority for them as they want to roll out more story content and bug fixes first.
