Any chance for Raina as a candidate?

I just started this game and it looks like she is not a candidate? I did a few searched but did not see much on it. Has anyone heard if devs have said anything on this? I think her potential story line of falling out of respect for puffer fish after seeing who they really are and wanting to make up for her involvement and start a new life on the island would be really engaging.

They finalized the marriage candidates months ago. She didn't make the cut. I don't think they'll add more down the line either. She and a few others were requested by the community but the devs said no sadly.

Nope. They announced their list of 28, and that's what we're getting. You can bet there will be mods before long for everyone else, though.

Yes. They will add Raina as a bachelorette through dlc or an update in the future. The list of 28 romanceable characters was only the list of characters that they had planned to be romanceable after the Kickstarter Fundraising Campaign was over, the list doesn't mean that they won't add more romanceable characters through dlc or an update. Raina will not be added through mods because that would only help PC players and that would be unfair to anyone playing the game on a Console and the Developers wouldn't betray their customers like that Raina has been heavily requested to be made a bachelorette and I'm sure that she will be added in the near future.

Do you realize that it is PC gamers who predominately make mods? Why would they care whether people could play their mods or not on console? The people who make mods are fans of the game. They are not employees of the devs. Any mod that allows Raina to be romanced will most likely be for PC players only AND will in no way, shape, or form be some kind of betrayal by the developers.

The developers will make sure that any update THEY do works for all platforms, I'm sure, but there are hundreds of games that work on PC and console but unofficial community created mods only work on PC. Make your peace with it.

I'm sure that modders will make Raina a bachelorette through mods but all I'm trying to say is that they won't have to because I'm sure that the developers are going to add Raina as a bachelorette to the main game through dlc or an update because it is being heavily requested by a tons of people that she be made a bachelorette. I'm sure that they will make other characters romanceable as well. Only time will tell for sure.
