How can I have children?

Has anyone figure it out? I already upgrade the house to 4 and have all the hearts with my spouse but nothing. It takes time or some triggers that?

I'm married with Wakuu for a whole year now, house is upgraded to 4, all hearts with him. No question for kids :(

I married Alice and it wasn't that long before I was asked to you want children? I said yes and a few days later she gave birth. Not that you can tell. You can't interact with your child.

yeah, I noticed that and it's kind of sad but I hope that we can interact with them sooner or later

I believe you’re supposed to upgrade your house to level 4 (200 Hardwood, 300 stone, 10 gold bars, 120,000 coins) that would add the nurseries to the home..from their you just have to wait until your partner brings up the idea of having kids.. haven’t gotten that far ahead yet but from searching everywhere that’s what I found

You definitely need to max the upgrades on your house, to get the two extra rooms, and also get to 15 hearts with your spouse. Once I did that, I pretty much got the prompt right away. It appears as a pop-up as soon as you wake up, asking if you want to have a child. Then about a half a season went by, with no indication a child was coming, and then POOF one day there's a baby in the crib upstairs. Your spouse will take care of it, but you can't interact with it and it doesn't seem to need anything. It's been an infant for about 2 seasons with no change. I just got a prompt for another kid, so I assume that works the same way and I don't know if they get any older at this point in the game, than just lying in the crib.
