Why Steam version and GamePass version are so different?
Hi,
I play on XBox GP , and i saw few things on internet lots of things different than my version of the game.
So i download a cracked steam version of the game ( i know i'm bad but i won't have the game twice for nothing ) and i check. I find a way to copy my save from the GP to the steam version on reddit and guess what ? Even if the main quest i'm stuck because i still have the "WIP" (on a released game) the steam version looks far more advanced than the GamePass one. So , question : WHY ?
PS: I post here because i posted on the discord , lots of people send a report AFTER me , they all got answer , but i was just ignored :D
Pretty sad because i made the game last year , i was very hype for the release , i waited 6 months to play again , i loved the game but i get very diseapointed.
I'll wait , i'm sure everything will be fix in few day , but still...
Have a nice day all ;)

So... in game development terms, releasing games on other platforms like Xbox or PS takes longer.

They release first on steam/PC, but any updates/changes to the game have to be ran through Microsoft and Sony reps or departments for approval. This obviously takes longer, there is no such barrier on Steam.

Just wait, it will update on Xbox too, it will just take a few more months.

I play on PC. My bad i should say that.
I will understand the problem on console , it happens a the launch of a game , but in that case , it's suppose to be the "same version " , the PC one.
