How you back up a save game?

Use Game Save Manager: https://www.gamesave-manager.com/ Install it, launch it (let it scan for games). Then you have two options, either manually backup after each ingame night (lots of alt-tab-ing) or automate it.

Manual option: in The Main screen under "Backing up ..." choose "Make a backup". Check Coral Island and click the left of the three icons in the top right to start backup.

Automated: in The Main screen under "Backing up ..." choose "Gameplay Backup". There check Coral Island, select a folder for the backups and choose how often backups are created while you play (I chose 15 minutes). Then click the left of the two icons in the top right to start the automated backups. After you close the game end the automated backup by closing the GSM window.
