How to move chests etc. once placed?

If I want to move a chest or an installation, is it possible to do so without destroying it?
Doing so will consume stamina. And will the chest be deleted if I don't move everything inside?
Is there any other way?

You can use the axe/pickaxe/bombs on those objects, technically they're not destroyed. I'm not what's the impact on non-empty chest though. Most likely it will spawn all the items on the ground.

Alternatively need to wait until the giant give the architect table, then they'll move the items for a fee.

It won't allow you to break the chest if there are items in it. Empty out the chest then hit it with a pickaxe.

Spring is over and summer is here, but I don't have any money.
I would like to upgrade my bag and tools, but I can't.
The reason is that all items are saved. I don't know what to sell, so I save it in a chest because I feel like I'll need it later.

If the donated/offered text on the bottom of the item description is highlighted, that means you don't need it, though I keep a few of each crop in case an NPC requests it. Other than that and building components, I'd start selling away.
