No seaweed?

Admittedly it's been like 2 years since I last played, but I started a new game now that 1.0 was released, and there's no seaweed. Anywhere! I've unlocked more than 5 nodes underwater and have explored a lot of the underwater area, and whilst there's plenty of bronze kelp, I haven't seen any sea grass at all. No sea grass, no seaweed. It's day 9 btw.

Anyone else?

Have you come back to the ocean later after you've cleared all the trash away and activated the nodes? More seaweed and kelp grows after the area is clean. There's not much there until you clean it.

I didn’t see any at first but I suddenly did start seeing it later. Maybe log out and log back in or maybe it takes a day or two to srart growing in clean zones? I’m new to the game so don’t know what is intended and what is not.

Seaweed grows plenty in the areas of the ocean that you've healed.

I can confirm that the next day, sea grass was growing. I think because I cleaned like 5 nodes in one day with a bunch of energy candy, I got ahead of myself.

Sea grass won't grow where there's too much trash, and I thought there would be some in the new areas I unlocked, turns out I just had to wait for the grass to grow after cleaning it.
