Underwater animals

Apart from the mermoo cows are any of the underwater animals worth getting, I know I need the mermoo for an offering but are the others worth getting or are they sort of useless in terms of game progression? Also can we not use auto feeders petters underwater? And I’ve been opening the gate for the mermoo’s I have but they never leave the barn and complain about it being too cramped

Do you ring the bell to let them out? It works the same as the land barns and coops, the gate is just for you. The bell is to let them in and out.

aha i didnt know that i will try ringing the bell, do you know if the other underwater animals are needed for anything? and can we not put an autofeeder down there, its annoying to have to keep manually feeding them, i only got the mermoos for an offering once thats done im selling them

They used to be needed for the orchestra bundles, but they changed the bundle requirements at the last minute. I think they're mostly for gifts and selling now.

And the devs said that we should not be using auto machines down there, the barn isn't set up for it.

This is so odd. Adding a second farm is a lot of work. Might as well sell the animals and the barn after getting all the animal products and upgrading what needs to be upgraded. I don't see any use (or even fun) otherwise.

yeah i plan to sell the underwater animals once ive got the mermoo cheese made, and i wont really be using the underwater farm, i have pink diamonds being duped constantly for gifts as i think everyone loves them, so im making enough to not have to worry about any other kind of gift now, and to be honest i only did the gifting for the achievements which mine has bugged on 2 of them, i have 10 hearts with multiple npc havent got the best of friends achievement unlocked, and i have more then 25 npc with 8 hearts but havent got the social butterfly, so im currently working on the getting married and the 2 kids achievements while i wait to finish the ocean stuff, everything else is Rank S now, just the Ocean is A
