Caught a Rainbow Fish in FALL!
So I just unlocked the Deep Forest, Fall 13 1st year, and was fishing to see what I might catch and I caught a Rainbow Fish! That's interesting because everything I've found says it's only supposed to be available in Spring and Winter in the river in town. This has me wondering if there are other fish that are available at alternate places/times. Anyone know of any others?

Also wondering if the Deep Forest is ever shown on the map?

In the deep forest the Rainbow fish is all year around in any weather.

As for the map, probably not unfortunately

I'd like to see a teleport in the deep forest. That'd be good for QOL.

Probably never happen though :steamsad:

That's too bad. It's such a neat area I was really hoping that it would reveal the map after I went there the first time. It is interesting that there is no warp totem for that area. Is there a warp in the Savannah I haven't unlocked it yet. Sadly I think I'll have to wait till Spring second year because there were a couple of fish and bugs that I didn't catch. Hard to know exactly what to catch when you start a game! Also more of a chance that your tools will be away from you as they get upgraded. I didn't really start looking closely at ALL the alters until I was probably mid summer.

There is a teleport to Deep Forest unlocked with starting the Guardian Mural.

good to know, thanks

I must have somehow missed it while I was playing the beta, 'cos I did the stuff you mentioned, as well as visiting the deep forest regularly, to chop hardwood trees, but I never noticed it. Always walked home. DOH
